1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RefereeGPT, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

RefereeGPT is an AI-powered training platform that helps match officials learn the rules of their sport through quizzes, an AI advisor, and gamification features. We support football, cricket, basketball, tennis, and American football.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this service
• One account per person; account sharing is not permitted

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Pro is billed monthly at $9.99 USD. Other plans are billed at the price shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

• You can cancel at any time from your settings. Access continues to the end of the billing period you have paid for.
• If you are a consumer in the UK, you have 14 days from purchase to cancel for a full refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless you asked us to start immediately and have used the service, in which case we may deduct a proportionate amount for what you used.
• We refund any duplicate or erroneous charge in full.
• If the service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours for reasons within our control, we will refund that period pro rata.

To request a refund, email [email protected] from your account address. Refunds are typically processed within 5 to 10 working days.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures
• Share or redistribute content from the AI advisor commercially
• Use automated tools to access the service outside the published API
• Share an API key, or embed one where others can extract it

7. Organisations

If you join a referee organisation on RefereeGPT, its administrators can see your membership and the training progress you complete as part of it. You can leave an organisation at any time. An organisation administrator is responsible for having a lawful basis to invite the people they invite.

8. AI-Generated Content

The AI Match Official Advisor provides educational information but is not a substitute for official referee or umpire training or certification, and it is not an official interpretation of the Laws of the Game. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors. Always verify important information with official governing bodies for your sport before acting on it. Decisions you make in a match remain yours.

9. Intellectual Property

Sport rules and regulations are published by their respective governing bodies and used here for educational purposes. RefereeGPT's original content, design, and code are owned by SVMS Consultancy Limited, trading as 360TFT.

10. Limitation of Liability

RefereeGPT is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the settings page. Clauses that are meant to survive, including intellectual property and liability, continue to apply.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept a change, you can close your account and we will refund any unused paid period.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the nation where you live, and nothing here affects the consumer protection rights you have there.

14. General

• Whole agreement: these terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service
• Severability: if a clause is unenforceable, the rest still applies
• No waiver: not enforcing a right once does not waive it
• Assignment: you may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign them to a successor.
• Events outside our control: we are not liable for failure or delay caused by something beyond our reasonable control
